To verify if your charging session has started successfully, please check the following:

• Charging station screen: Look at the status display on the charging station to confirm that the charging has begun.
• Vehicle display or My BMW app: Check the charging status in your vehicle or via the My BMW app for an update.
• Charging socket status: Inspect the status indicator on your BMW's charging socket for confirmation.

If the charging point repeatedly prompts for authentication:

Please verify if the charging station supports automatic Plug & Charge authentication. You can check this information:

• On your BMW's Goodbye screen.
• In the charging point details in the My BMW app.

Important note:

After a failed authentication attempt via Plug & Charge, your vehicle will not automatically re-authenticate when plugged in again. As an alternative, you can authenticate using the digital method in the My BMW app (Charge on the Go) or the BMW Charging Card.
