If you experience authentication issues with Plug & Charge, please keep the following in mind:
- After an authentication error, the vehicle will not automatically re-authenticate when plugged in again.
As an alternative, you can authenticate your charging session using one of the following methods:
- My BMW app: Use digital authentication via the Charge on the Go feature in the My BMW app.
- BMW Charging Card: Authenticate using your BMW Charging Card at the station.
