To find charge points that support Plug & Charge, you can:
- Use the My BMW app: In the Map tab of the My BMW app, apply the Plug & Charge filter to locate compatible charge points.
- BMW Charging Maps in your vehicle: Check the charge point details through BMW Charging map, directly in your BMW Charging, to see if Plug & Charge is supported.
- BMW Charging website: On the BMW Charging website, you can find an overview of Plug & Charge-enabled charge points within your country or travel destination. Use the map view and filter by authentication method, including Plug & Charge.
Important note: The Plug & Charge authentication method is currently only available at specific charging stations and is not yet supported in Portugal due to local regulations. The network is steadily expanding, and new standards are being adopted, so check periodically for updates on the availability of Plug & Charge stations.
