A prerequisite for registering with BMW Charging is a BMW ID. If you don't have a BMW ID yet, you can easily apply for one in the first step of the registration process here. Alternatively, you can create your BMW ID via the login page of the My BMW app or the BMW portal online by clicking "Register now".

Once you have linked your BMW ID with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of your BMW vehicle in the My BMW app, you can complete the registration for BMW Charging. Linking your BMW ID with your vehicle (also called "mapping") is required not only for registration but also throughout the use of BMW Charging.
