To do this, please first check whether the charging contract partner you wish to use supports Plug & Charge. The PCID is then usually required as a unique identifier for the vehicle during the registration. For BMWs, the PCID is the same as the vehicle identification number (VIN). Please ensure you enter the 17-digit VIN correctly to ensure a smooth setup.

Once Plug & Charge has been successfully set up with the charging contract partner, the certificate/contract becomes available for download via the Plug & Charge menu in the vehicle.
